The Grade 4B students are patiently waiting for Spring!
Here is your chance! What would you serve Mr. Kopecky for lunch?
List poems are a fun way to give students practice with singular and plural nouns. Write your own list poem about things you would not like to find in your lunch. Please remember to begin with the title.
We are ready to begin E-PALS. Each 4B student will be buddied up with a 2B student. This student will be your E-PAL for the rest of the school year.
Your first job, as the experienced e-mailer, is to share some e-mail manners with your E-PAL through an e-mail.

Monday, October 13 is Thanksgiving Day. There are so many things that we are thankful for. What are you thankful for?
Think about the geese in Fly Away Home and write your own Haiku.
Remember the criteria for a Haiku poem.
* only 3 lines
*lines 1 and 3 have 5 syllables
* line 2 has 7 syllables
Remember to take a minute and read your classmates poems! Feel free to leave a positive comment.
Every student has written a bibliographic poem about a character from the novel Mice At Centre Ice, by Estelle Salata. The poems each have seven lines which describe the character that the student has chosen. Each student also made a hockey card and drew a picture of the character on it. They then placed the poems seen here on the back of the Hockey Card.
